1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Contentide ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

Contentide is a web-based platform that provides AI-powered LinkedIn content generation services. Our service includes:

  • AI-powered LinkedIn post generation using advanced language models
  • Three professional templates: Professional Insight, Industry Commentary, and Personal Story
  • Direct LinkedIn posting integration with OAuth authentication
  • LinkedIn profile integration for post previews and user identification
  • Post management and storage capabilities
  • Subscription-based access with usage limits
  • User account management and billing services

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • One account per person; multiple accounts are prohibited

3.2 Account Security

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • We implement security measures including rate limiting and session management
  • Password requirements: minimum 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters

4. AI Content Generation and Usage

4.1 Content Generation

  • Our AI generates content based on your input prompts using advanced language models
  • Generated content is provided as-is without guarantees of accuracy or effectiveness
  • You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before use
  • We do not guarantee the quality, originality, or performance of generated content

4.2 Content Ownership and Usage Rights

  • You retain ownership of your input prompts and ideas
  • Generated content becomes your property upon generation
  • You may use generated content for any lawful purpose
  • We retain no rights to your generated content
  • You grant us permission to store your content for service provision

4.3 Prohibited Content

You may not use our service to generate content that is:

  • Illegal, harmful, or violates any laws or regulations
  • Defamatory, libelous, or invades privacy
  • Discriminatory, harassing, or promotes hatred
  • Misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive
  • Violates intellectual property rights
  • Contains malicious code or harmful instructions

📋 LinkedIn-Specific Content Restrictions:

When using LinkedIn integration, you must also ensure content complies with:

  • • LinkedIn's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service
  • • Professional networking standards and etiquette
  • • LinkedIn's spam and promotional content policies
  • • Appropriate professional context and relevance

5. Data Privacy and Security

5.1 Data Collection

We collect and process the following information:

  • Account information (email, name, profile data)
  • LinkedIn profile information and OAuth tokens (when connected)
  • Generated content and input prompts
  • Usage data and analytics
  • Billing and subscription information
  • Technical data (IP addresses, browser information)

5.2 Data Security

  • All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • We use advanced access controls and database security
  • Regular security audits and updates are performed

6. LinkedIn Platform Compliance

Contentide is committed to 100% compliance with LinkedIn's Terms of Service and API usage policies. By using our LinkedIn integration features, you agree to the following:

  • Use only official LinkedIn OAuth for authentication
  • Access only authorized API endpoints with proper permissions
  • Follow all LinkedIn rate limits and usage guidelines
  • Request minimum required permissions (w_member_social for posting)
  • Encrypt and securely store all OAuth tokens
  • Comply with LinkedIn's content policies and community guidelines

6.2 Prohibited Activities

  • Scrape engagement data (likes, comments, views) from LinkedIn
  • Access unauthorized API endpoints or use undocumented APIs
  • Use automated bots or web scraping techniques
  • Read, modify, or delete your existing LinkedIn content without explicit authorization
  • Access your LinkedIn messages, connections, or network data
  • Violate LinkedIn's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines

6.3 Your Responsibilities

When using Contentide's LinkedIn integration, you agree to:

  • Comply with all LinkedIn Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
  • Not use our service to violate LinkedIn's platform policies
  • Review all generated content for LinkedIn compliance before posting
  • Not use our service for spam, manipulation, or deceptive practices
  • Maintain the security of your LinkedIn OAuth tokens
  • Immediately notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your LinkedIn account

ℹ️ Why No Analytics?

LinkedIn's public API does not provide engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares, impressions) for personal profiles. Any tool claiming to offer this feature uses unauthorized scraping methods that violate LinkedIn's Terms of Service. We choose compliance and your account safety over risky features. You can view your post analytics directly on LinkedIn.

6.1 LinkedIn Integration Terms

LinkedIn Connection and Authorization

  • LinkedIn integration is optional and can be disconnected at any time
  • You authorize Contentide to access your LinkedIn profile information and post content on your behalf
  • You must comply with LinkedIn's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when using this feature
  • You are responsible for ensuring your LinkedIn account remains in good standing
  • OAuth tokens are stored securely and used only for authorized posting activities

Content Posting Responsibilities

  • • Ensure compliance with LinkedIn's content policies
  • • Verify accuracy and appropriateness of all posts
  • • Respect intellectual property and privacy rights
  • • Use professional judgment regarding content suitability

Service Limitations and Disclaimers

  • Direct posting functionality depends on LinkedIn API availability and may be interrupted
  • We are not responsible for LinkedIn policy changes that affect posting capabilities
  • Posted content is subject to LinkedIn's content moderation and community standards
  • We do not guarantee successful delivery or visibility of posts on LinkedIn
  • Rate limiting may apply based on LinkedIn API restrictions

Data and Privacy

  • We only access minimum required LinkedIn permissions (profile and posting)
  • LinkedIn profile data is used solely for service functionality and user identification
  • OAuth tokens are encrypted and stored securely in our database
  • You can disconnect LinkedIn integration at any time through your dashboard
  • Disconnection immediately revokes all access and deletes stored LinkedIn data

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

  • Contentide, our logo, and service marks are our intellectual property
  • The software, design, and functionality are protected by copyright
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary technology

7.2 User Rights

  • You retain all rights to your original content and ideas
  • You own all generated content produced using our service
  • You may not claim ownership of our underlying technology

8. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Use our service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt our service or servers
  • Use automated systems to access our service without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code
  • Resell or redistribute our service without authorization

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You may delete your account through your account settings

9.2 Termination by Us

  • We may terminate your account for violation of these Terms
  • We may suspend service for non-payment
  • We may discontinue the service with 30 days' notice

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

10.1 Service Availability

  • We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects service
  • We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our control

10.2 AI Content Disclaimer

  • AI-generated content is provided as-is without warranties
  • We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness
  • You are responsible for fact-checking and verifying all content
  • We are not liable for consequences of using generated content

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONTENTIDE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Contentide and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law and Disputes
